At interCaribbean Airways and Flight Support, community and environmental stewardship are at the heart of what we do. On our first-ever International Coastal Cleanup Day, aptly named “Going Coastal”, we came together in a powerful demonstration of our commitment to the Caribbean environment and its people.
This inaugural event took place in two stunning locations—Turks and Caicos and Barbados—bringing teams, partners, and local communities together to make a meaningful impact.
Teamwork in Action
In Barbados, our team collaborated with the Sandals Foundation, the University of the West Indies, and other incredible organizations to tackle the waste at Oistins Beach. Meanwhile, in Turks and Caicos, interCaribbean employees partnered with Sandals Resorts staff to remove dozens of bags of trash from the pristine coastline.
These efforts went beyond cleaning beaches. They exemplified the power of teamwork, community spirit, and our shared dedication to preserving the natural beauty of our islands for generations to come.
